re: Lights out *Conclusion: .45 aren't the end all be all.*

Sir I demand that you retract that statement...as a .45acp fan boy it is the death ray caliber equalling instant death even if you are only nicked I will not have this proud calibers reputation defaced by the likes of you.

P.S hehehe :neener:

Good grief, caliber wars, once again...

Let me give you the definitive answer .. .45 vs 9mm

7X.45=3.15 inches of lead

15X.354(9mm to you caliber guys)=5.31 inches of hollow point hell...

Makes about as much sense as any other argument about caliber. There are stacks and stacks of autopsies which validate both cartridges and calibers.

Pick your poison and place your bets, but try center of mass several times...

This guy is an idiot. 9MM's have been killing people for over 100 years in almost every country of the world. To drop someone with one shot you need to either sever the spinal column or put one in the brain and even that is not a sure thing with any caliber even his .40. I would have put him in his place.

Story I saw on tv once thats fairly old: Kid working at a convenience stores goes back late at night because he forgot his jacket. Stoe is locked up and another employee is closing. He thinks it's a burglar and shoots him in the side of the head with a 44mag. Kid lost half of his brain and has an artifical skull covering on that side of his head. He survived, with obvious mental problems, but I beleive he enrolled in a community college. I think that's pretty amazing.

I had a "Ex-CIA" agent tell me that he watched a man get shot with 10 rounds of 9mm and he kept fighting (And lived) but anytime he has seen someone shot with a .45 they dropped in one shot.

10 shots in toe maybe. Put 10 rounds in COM and then pass judgment.
