Just got a bunch of stuff in the mail, thanks to my tax return coming in. :)

It started its life out as a simple RRA Car-15, flattop with aftermarket carry handle/irons.

Then for home defense/zombie situation i added a Bushnell Trophy MP red dot, sling (not shown), surefire g2, UTG quad-rail, leapers vertical grip, hogue main grip:

Then for long distance (for this gun anyway) and "sniper" duty, i added a bushnell 3200 elite mildot 10x40 w/flip up covers, comp 5 round mag, harris 6-9 bipod with adapter. This is how it sits now, but switching to zombie duty only takes a second. :D

Its really good. I did a lot ot research for a red-dot in that price range, and everything i found said the trophy series was good stuff.

Ive actually had that red dot for a bit. So far its held zero very well, after being dropped and removed and replaced a few times. Its a crisp sight, overall im very happy. For 160 bucks i dont think there is much better.

I'm also interested in that dot. Whats the MOA on it? What type of dot is it? Did it co-witness fine with your front post or did it require a spacer and some work?

I think I may get one of those for my business AR, too.

^^+1

Been looking at that and the Vortex Strikefire. Or save some extra $$ and go for the Aimpoint.

you know where to find an aimpoint for only 150-160 bucks? Link! :D

Here ya go guys, i took some pics to show its position on the AR as far as lining up with the front sight.

When i shoot with it i usually will line the reddot's "T" up with the front sight. So that the sides are on the front sight protectors and the bottom part is on the front post, with the dot hovering right above the front post...if that makes any sense. Here is what i mean:

Shot of the dot. I took it in the color green because i couldnt get my point-shoot camera to pick up the red. Also i obviously couldnt get it to focus on the front post, but it gives a general idea. lol

Overall it matches up really well. Again i am very happy with it. Plus i think it looks really cool.

RP88 - The click value is 1/4 moa. And the dot itself looks to be 1 moa, but im not really sure.

Looks great! You better change your dependents, your giving way too much money to the Govment:D They'll just give it to some bank:scrutiny:

thanks for the pics and additional info. Definitely gonna look into getting one now.
