Her present is the rifle, not the outfit.

Details on the rifle:

Stag lower receiver from Eagle Arms.

20" A2 upper (with bayonet lug and flash hider) & parts kit from J&T Distributing. I was truly amazed at how easy it was to assemble. Only one part was really tricky at all. Took me about an hour, and I'd never even seen it done before.

Details on my wife: you wish.

Anyone else out there get their wife/GF a gun for Christmas?

what was the one hard part about your build?

Probably tying up the top! :D

I never bought my wife a gun on Christmas or her birthday, I have purchased a few for her though when I ran into something she wanted, like the SIG P230, and Walther P99.

Only tricky part was the pivot pin/detent pin/spring combo...I'm told it's a lot easier if you've got the dedicated tool, but I was making do with needlenose pliers, a knife blade, and two hands. Tricky.

The outfit was part of her birthday present for me last year. :D

4" stillettos would make the outfit complete. Besides...they could be used to push pins. Thanks for sharing!

not this x-mas... in years past i gave my wife her 20 gauge and s&w 686 for x-mas (not in the same year, though), she got her 223 for mother's day, and 22 for her b-day... whatever other guns she has didn't come on a holiday or whatever.

Nah, she just looks in the safe and says I want to shoot my ....
Every day we go to the range is Xmas for her :)

Okay, I have to ask one little question: Does she have a sister?

Just kidding. :neener:

You are very lucky, you know.
