Does anyone know where I can get a barrel for a Colt Python?
Any size, nickle plated.

First question.... do you need a new style thread barrel or the old style.
They do not interchange and you have to have the right thread barrel for the frame.
Old style thread barrels have two pin front sights, new style have one pin front sights.

You can ask here:

Gun Parts MAY have several nickel barrels, but you'll have to actually contact them to find out for sure:

Other than that, Python barrels are hard to find and expensive. You also have to watch out for defective barrels, which is why many of them are for sale.

Watch the gun auction sites, they turn up there from time to time.

This particular Python has the 2 pin front sight.
Numrich does have a barrel.
Thank you very much for the information.

FAIR WARNING:
Don't try to install the barrel unless you're a trained pistolsmith and have several hundred dollars of special tools, including a lathe, special barrel vise inserts, a special frame wrench with Colt "I" frame polymer inserts, and a very expensive tool set used to cut the barrel for barrel/cylinder gap, and to re-cut and lap the forcing cone, along with the special drop-in forcing cone plug gage to measure it.

The old gag of locking the barrel in a vise and using a hammer handle to twist off the frame is pretty well guaranteed to destroy an expensive Python.
If you need a barrel fitted, send it in to Colt and let the pro's do it.
Pythons are just too valuable these days to risk.
