I need a good gun belt. Price is a HUGE issue... really THE issue. If I can't afford one I just won't buy now... I'll wait until I can get one worth buying.

Also, I have a Smith & Wesson Model 66-3 (.357) with about a 2.5" barrel. It is my primary carry. For it I have an IWB holster that works fine, as well as a SmartCarry (that also works with my secondary carry gun). These are both good for deep concealment, but around the house I'd like to OC or OWB CC. Again, price is a huge issue. Any recommendations?

My secondary carry is a Bersa CC Edition in .380 ACP. I have an ankle holster (which I hate), but keep because it was dirt cheap, and a pocket holster (which is by far my favorite method of carry for any of my guns). If I could find an OWB CC or OC holster that was very reasonable in price I might buy it rather than one for the .357. It really doesn't matter to me. I just want more comfortable carry for when concealment doesn't matter (around the house, in the yard, in the woods, etc.).

Can any of you lead me in a good direction on this? They told me I'm subject to a substantial salary cut at work at any time now, so I'm making sure to save a good amount of my money instead of blowing it all on gun stuff. :D

Experience/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say you should wait till you have the money to get exactly what you need. No use being uncomfortable. A good belt makes a HUGE difference. I wear a CrossTac, got it from Midway.

Sell off the holsters you don't need to pay for it, if you must, but I'm betting you could scrape together the $80-90 if you really had to.

crossbreed has belts now for $59 bucks...I ordered one and the delivery time is 3 weeks...2 month "like it or return it, no questions asked"...

Go to Kohl's and get a nice Levi's or Columbia belt. I just picked up one of each in reversible for the option but more for the thickness. A far better deal than my previous belts that let the holster move around a little. Now I have to unclip the talon to move the holster, as this is how it should work IMHO. Total price at buy one get one one half off, $45 plus tax. One belt is for dress, the other is for dress down. Good luck on the salary thing, and great way to plan ahead.

BTW, my Fobus paddle doesn't move either. And where you clip any holster, is where it stays.
