Need a rear sight to go with HiViz Front?

I’d like to find a rear sight for my Glock 17 that will work with the HiViz front I have now. Something like the Warren/Sevigny or the Heinie slant pro is what I’m thinking. I want to make sure the height and width of what I get works well with what I have. I’d also look at adjustable sights but the ones I’ve seen are bulky. This isn’t a carry gun, IDPA/USPSA only.

Should I just go with the CGR Heinie/Dawson combo and pitch the HiViz?

This is what I have on the rear of my 23 that I've carried everyday for 6 years. They work well with my hi-viz front site, but take some getting used to. I only carry, don't compete, so don't know what you can or can't do for your competition stuff. SC

Thanks for the reply, but you're right. No ghost rings for playing games.

I use a Hi Viz green front with the adjustable factory rear on both my G34 and G22. I used a permanent marker and blacked out the white bucket outline on the factory rear. Suits my eyes better now.

I did the Sharpie thing when I installed the HiViz. I've heard that some folks turn the sight around. I haven't had any problems but I want to get something a little more durable than the plastic factory sight. Plus the ones I've mentioned have a wider notch width that "they" say is easier/faster to acquire.
