I have what I believe is a Beretta 70 series .22. I want to thread the barrel so I can equip it with a silencer. I’ve emailed a few manufacturers with negative results. Any ideas? I do not have the tools to do it myself. I’m in the Central Valley of California and don’t know of any place that will machine it for me. E0AA399C-C25A-48B9-BC85-248B2B8CBF60.jpeg

It's cheaper to buy another pistol, the barrels are very hard to find. You can get a 71, with a fake suppressor installed for under $350, Grind the dummy where the hex screw is set, remove it, and move on.

Old thread here https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/beretta-71.745710/ on doing that

I don't pretend to know a thing about CA laws and silencers, you are better off asking in the NFA forum.

Please make sure its OK in Kali.

What suppressor do you plan to put on it? May impact how much thread you need which is key here as there is little (if any) room to really work with on that barrel. May have to have a section added and threaded which will make it $$.

Check with Tornado Tech if you haven't, I know they do some Beretta stuff which isn't easy (21a). Not a cheap path to go down though.

Please keep us posted. Big Beretta fan so like to see them get out more.

adco, out own machivshooter (I belienve) and probably some others will make a threaded extension for you pistol. you could try class 3 machine out of dallas as well.
