First off, yes I've heard how bad these are. But a friend of mine knows I'm saving up for a decent scope and just gave it to me today after he upgraded to a Leupold. Even gave me some rings!
Anyway, I found the exact model on this site: NcSTAR Mark III Series Scope - 1.5-6x40
Since it was free, I'm going to give it a try, but before I take it out I wanted to at least invest in some flip up lens covers to protect the glass. But because this model has an angled end I can't find anything. So I was wondering if anyone has figured this out already or has any suggestions that won't cost much.
