if it means I need a new pair of handles/screws where can I buy them??

so yea please help, Any
help is very appreciated...

Stripped my ass! Hit 'er with tha super glue, boy! Yee Haw!

But seriously, rcellis is right. The threads are probably all stripped out.

You could try some lock tite first, but if that doesn't work you will need to tap it for a bigger size.

if you don't mind being without your self loading pistol for avout 3 months you could send it to taurus for a factory fix it.

yea I think they are stripped :(

can some one do me a favor and find me a gun smith in ILLINOIS

I dont have internet at my house and I am on a friends computer, and with work and all i dont have much time to call all the places and ask if they can fix it etc..etc..

well thanks all...

Put a little blue loc-tite on it and snug it gently. Put it down for at least 8 hours. Problem solved.

"You might try..:"

Also, you could "Very gently" try one of your OTHER screws and see if that works...
If it does work; buy a new 4 pack of grip screws on eBay... 'The same ones for a beretta 92... :)

smith...i dont understand what you mean...

also...

the other 3 screws are much bigger than this one because there is a bushing or something that holds the safety spring in place...

ill post a picture in a couple mins..

"I dunno..."

It looks to me like (2) things... One, is that you DO need to get the New (4) pack of grip screws; only because I don't think you can get them one at a time... And 2nd, you need a new screw bushing..; if you look closely you'll see that there is a "Flat-Head" screw slot to remove the entire bushing that is shown... (If the interior threads of the bushing that that screw threads into is NOT damaged; the inside threads I mean... where you're grip screw goes... Don't remove & replace the bushing, merely replace the "Stripped screw"..!" If you do the "Blue Loktite" you'll not likely be able to remove the grip as designed in the future... It'll likely unscrew the grip screw bushing W/ the screw simultaniousely... Doesn't sound too handy to me unless that's not a problem for you..? That of course is your call..!

If it's not a problem not removing it again later..; take a drop of "Loktite" & put it on the grip screw threads & as described ^^^ up there somewhere; Gently "Snug" the grip screw and "Walk away from the whole thing for 24 hours..."

(I still don't understand the other screw's being "larger"; But, I just may not have ever seen that particular set - up..?!) E! :)

cool thanks ill order a pack of screws and see if that helps..

thanks again guys..

"The 4 pack screws deal is ONLY gonna work if the threads inside that bushing are not stripped..."
Also, I'm hoping before you order the screws that someone else w/ a Taurus will "Chime" in;
I've personally never seen 3 screw's of one size, and the last one smaller..!

IF that IS really how yours is set up..; you may need'nt bother w/ my original idea...
Do you perhaps have another "Pic" that shows the whole grip frame & the individual screws..?

E! :) :D

yes I do have a few more pix...here..

you notice how theres only one bushing and thats where the safety spring is.....

well thats the only bushing on the grip frame (both sides)
