Need help Tokarev-33 owners!
The 8 and 7 cartridges are blocked!
They dive a holow point bullet down, slide forward and are stuck in a front wall magazine when the bolt pushes them in the chamber.
Who solved a problem help me please!

The HP bullets may be too short for the magazine and causing your issue. If it runs fine with ball ammo, then you could look at putting a spacer in the rear of the magazine if you are determined to shoot HP out of it.

May also want to check your spring tension and a few other magazines to see if they all do the same thing or not. New magazine or spring may also solve the issue if it isn't a cartridge length problem.

Hope I understood your question correctly.

Most of us in the U.S. shoot these with surplus (or occasional new production PPU) ball ammo. For what it’s worth, although I think in theory this cartridge is begging for a high quality hollowpoint, the hollowpoints I have seen for it have been poorly designed and basically just function like ball ammo anyway, so if I were ever to carry one I’d stick with FMJ. The gun that’s reliable is better than the gun that’s not.

Mosin 77 has it figured out. Couple buddies and I went to see Enemy at the Gates, and promptly went look for Toks.
Mine is Polish, nicely done, with a really fugly aftermarket safety, required for import.
Pretty sure the gun was designed for Condition 3 carry, and I'm doubtful that I'd be comfortable carrying it any other way.
They are entertaining to shoot, and the imported ball made an impressive crash at our indoor range.

The new PPU hollow points do work and quite well. 1.5x dia expansion and well over 12 inches of penetration in gel.

I have a TT-33 and only use it as a range toy. Every brand of ball ammo has worked well for me. My advice is to stick with ammo intended for this firearm, there are much better firearms for defensive use than TT-33 and all the clones.

In my case bullet is custom cast lead HP, length normal.
The problem to me seems in that, brass and bottle cartridge form very conical.
Therefore the 8 and 7 bullets in cartridges looking down - when the bolt pushing behind.
My theory that it is necessary to increase the cartridges angle in magazine!
It would be desirable to know solved problem 8 and 7 owners.

There isn't alot of different pistols chambered for the 7.62 Tokarev cartridge, which is quite formidable even compared to most caliber choices today. In China gangs will frequently choose this pistol because it can penetrate body armor.

My guess would be to replace the magazine follower (the plate the cartridges sit on when in the magazine) and/or replacing the spring inside the magazine.

By the way, it is possible cartridges with some dense technical lubricant for good work?
(without lubricant surplus of course)
