I have a 1903 stock that has a couple of cracks in the web just behind the recoil lug and am in need of a low viscosity and high impact glue.
Are there any suggestions for such a product ?

I have no experience with it, but others have suggested using cyanoacrylate for its low viscosity. How it holds up under recoil, or withstands exposure to heat, gun oil and solvents... perhaps someone will chime in?

I will mention the Loctite #380, a toughened cyanoacrylate. Its color is black. It was originally called "Black Max". I have used it both in industry and at home. It's really good stuff, but I don't know if it is fluid enough to flow into the cracks you are dealing with. Hope this helps.

I highly recommend searching for "stock repair" whereupon you will find posts by GunnyUSMC, IMHO he is the foremost expert on the subject on The Highroad. I think you can learn everything you need to know for your task at hand.
