I have a Kimber Desert Warrior that I bought about 2 years ago that I am looking to sell. It has had around 300-400 rounds put through it and is in great condition aside from a small black dotted 'rust mark' on the visible part of the barrel (there when I bought it).

What would you start your price at if you were selling it? I realize its hard to know exactly without seeing the gun. But thanks to everyone in advance.

you could probably expect.... (depending on a few things) $600-$1000. But if you were to sell it to me I would tell you to sell it for $400 (or so)

i agree i would compare it to guns on gun broker, lots of folks like them, for some reason, i am not a real fan, but i am sure that you could get $750 for it.

$400-$750?!?!???

Haha am I missing something here fellas?

Guns msrp is $1449, as always, that's over what you can get it for...

Average on gunbroker is about $1200-1300, some going for more, some less.

If you look at similar used models that actually sold on Gubroker in the past 30 days, they are in the $900 tp $1,150 range, so I would guess around $1.000. MSRP does not matter on a used gun.

I don't know where you guys buy your guns at but Desert Warriors go for about 750 used here and 1050 new.

you can post anything on gun broker for any price. it could be a hipoint for $10,000 but that dosen't mean anything. you have to look at what they have been selling for. also remember as much as you want to get a big portion of your money back, it dosen't always work like that. the biggest thing you have going for you is the fact that there are alot of folks that love the desert warrior, the only issue is that the majority of the people that like them either already have one, or the fact that they cost more than they want to spend.

Yep, do a search on GunBroker, but then go a step further and look at COMPLETED auctions that actually SOLD. Anybody can ask whatever price they want, but the completed sold auctions tell you what someone was actually willing to pay. There quite often is a huge difference in asking vs selling price.

I just did a quick gunbroker completed sold auctions search for desert warrior. Looks like they go for $900-$1100.
