New APX carry single stack

Now that they have proven that they can ingest Nano into the APX family, I can't wait for the APX treatment to Px4.

Why do you think they will even consider ingesting the PX4 into the APX family? That would not make any sense at all. The Beretta Nano was the first striker fired pistol produced by Beretta. Striker fired, modular design etc. was the foundation of the APX models they now market. The PX4 is not a striker fired firearm any more than it is a revolver. The Beretta Nano in many ways was ahead of it's time in comparison to other firearms in the same class. Beretta now has a line of Striker Fired, modular guns, steel chassis, and basically the same foundation etc. They are all now in the APX line up. Bringing the Nano up to the ARX line was was not only a smart thing to do, but a decision that was completely justified.

Now maybe I read your statement wrong and if so, I apologize. Are you saying they should bring in features of the APX into the PX4?

FYI, anyone interested in the New APX Carry, (Nano) Beretta is offering a $75.00 rebate on all APX models. Lol, I would buy one right NOW except I have a Kahr CM9 arriving this after noon. Well maybe. I love the Nano and jumping into any new gun simply for a few upgrades has to be thought out. Especially since I am so very happy with the Nano already.

Here is a pic of the new APX receiver compared to the Nano. Notice the difference in the Striker Spring. There is a lot of speculation going on as to if the frames can be swapped ETC. It will be interesting to shoot the new model. I have been so happy with the Nano, and the build quality, which I believe the gun will outlive me that I doubt I will jump on the upgrade. For new owners it might be just what they have been looking for.

Did we really need another low capacity single stack gun on the market?
I would have been alot more impressed if they had made something to compete with the Sig P365. And the APX line just isnt my taste anyway, OMG those ugly slide serrations.

Sorry guys, i`m happy for those who like it, but for me, this new offering from beretta just dosent do anything for me at all, rather disappointing :(

It is not a new single stack and it is not low capacity. It is standard capacity for a firearm in this class The slide serrations are very functional and work and many people love them. . It is basically a upgrade to a already proven Micro 9mm. All Micro 9mm's made are competing with each other to include the P365 which by the way is a fine firearm, but certainly not every ones taste or cup of tea. And the fact remains that the market is strong for Micro 9mm's.

What do you suggest, manufacturers stop upgrading all their products? And as far as other Micro 9mm, I would say the manufactures are better judges of what the market is like more so than internet posters. Never could understand why some on internet are so opposed manufacturers upgrading or bringing in a new line. Simply just keep what you have or pass. By the way, I assuming you have actually owned a APX or have at least shot one by your statement? Or are you simply judging the product from a picture?

I`ve owned beretta`s and shot many that wern`t mine. Wasnt my cup of tea. So theres that.
I`m curious to know what this new APX offering does, that the others out there haven't covered already, and for quite some time.

We are talking about the Nano, Obviously you have not been paying attention. There are a number of reviews, that you can see, the gun was just released last week. If you are really interested, which I do NOT believe you are, just go to a review and will easily see. If you cannot see some of the changes to the Nano already then I can not help you. And there has not been a full review yet. Scooch is putting one together, but only did a pre review.
Obviously Beretta is Not for you so why the Post? I basically put this thread up for Nano fans that already own one.
I own a Nano love it and I bought a Kahr last week. Not here to discuss which is better or compare. Nor do I want to compare all my Pocket and Micro guns that I own. I was hoping for input from other Nano fans rather than the same ole internet "Why another Striker fired gun etc etc."
By the way, you did not say which Beretta you owned. You do know the difference between a 92f and a APX I hope. Might be a good idea to start another thread.

LOL who`s paying attention?
Ummm, well the thread title says >>>>>>> New APX carry single stack not NANO,
so maybe you should start a new thread on the NANO. I just simply stated my opinion, while it seems YOU hi-jacked the thread into a NANO subject.

By the way, yeah i know what the differences are... 50+yrs of shooting, sooooo, theres that.
