Stock trigger on My Armalite AR10 had a lot of creep, a miserable thing to try to fire.
I did`nt have the money to spend so I delved into the grocery budget and added enough to what I had saved up and ordered the Geissele SSA, alls I can say is, I am totally pleased with My purchase, as has been stated, spend the money and do`nt look back.
Next, I want to try a Timney on one of My bolt rifles, just for a comparison. I do`nt have another AR rifle and the M1 and M1A1 are already national match so no sense in messing with those trigger assemblies.

My Armalite AR-10 also has a miserable trigger (i call it a 4-stage trigger). As a result, I saved up my pennies when building up my AR-15, and got a Geissele SSA-E. The difference in feel and how they shoot is absolutely incredible. With a lot of concentration, I can still shoot the AR-10 accurately, but with the AR-15 I can shoot one hole groups with much less effort. I'll be getting another Geissele as soon as I can afford it.

They aren't match triggers, just good tuned up milspec triggers.
This.
That's right, just a very nice "mil spec" trigger. The parts kits available everywhere vary widely in how the trigger feels. My Surplus Arms & Ammo parts kit was the best of several. Buying a parts kit with no trigger and buying an ACT is a good way to go.

RE: M1 trigger 2 stage...I'll have to take it out of the safe and dry fire sometime back to back with my SSA, but the two stages on the M1 don't stand out in my memory as being as differentiated as the two stages of the SSA
