One of the Gerber blades that I've had kicking around the house for a while is a little 2.7" Mini Swagger. I primarily use it for opening mail and packages and other small jobs in the living room and it's been a slick little blade and sharp as ch!t & I've always liked it. I knew they had larger full-size Swagger models and I thought it might be nice to have one to go with my Gerber Kiowa so when I ran across this purdy'purdy' assisted opening Swagger on Facebook I did on it and ended up winning it for $9 shipped . It looks just like my mini Swagger except it has a partially serrated blade and it's also really sharp. Another thing I noticed is it's not a conventional lock back and it's not a newer style locking blade where you have to push the the lock Sideways from behind and below the blade, this one is a push button blade release on the left side of the knife in the middle just above the pivot point. Not sure how strong this style of lock is but it's different ...

Where is the cat on this issue? That is a good price. I have a Gerber assisted with the bolt action that I use as my around the house knife. I don't even recall the model. It has done everything you can think of and still takes and edge. The blade has loosed up some, but it still does yeoman service.
