New Kimber, how did I do?

well first and foremost sweet pistol, I really like the kimbers, don't own one, but have shot many. And wow good shooting, no no great shooting!

Your gun is a twin to mine. I even replaced the factory plastic flat mainspring housing with an arched, like someone did with yours. My frame and slide finish matched when I first bought my gun, but now mine has the reddish tinge like yours. I always wondered about it but at least now I know mine is not the only one.

I think you did good! I own a "Series I" Kimber and it's my favorite pistol. When money becomes more available I will be searching for more. To me, Kimbers are like Corvettes and Camaros.....The older the better..
