New knife to pick up at Blade

My buddy Gary Wheeler just finished this bowie for me and will be sewing up the sheath (rattlesnake window sheath) for it next week.

He forged the ladder pattern damascus, forged the blade and built the bowie. Sole authorship! He's submitting for his journeyman smith this year and would have put this bowie in except for the fact that no damascus is allowed for submission. Kim Breed told him it was too good for me, but Gary said he'd give it to me anyway just to see if I could find anything wrong with it. Pffft! I can see a problem just from the pictures already.

It's too purty to use!
