Nice flea market find! Had a Case Cheetah back in the late '70s. Really liked the look of the folding guards. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful knife! I have a Schatt Morgan swing guard out in the garage, really abused the thing sharpening it, and then, cutting boxes and cardboard. As these are not cheap knives at a cheap price, I have really reduced the value of the thing! I believe the blades on the swing guard are 420HC, the heat treat is correct. Schatt Morgan knives are very well made, the fit and finish are outstanding. Very traditional, that is, pre WW2 to pre WW1 patterns.

This one has ATS 34 blades and it is in my pocket right now.

Of the large Congress knives on the market, I prefer this one primarily due to the large and small spear blades. And due to the outstanding fit and finish.

Don't give up looking for your Cheetah, Case Cheetah's are very well made, but you are not going to find one for a bargain, everyone at a Flea Market knows what a Case knife is.
