Ok, speaking as an art director for a small publishing company I have to say that the new MagPul catalog(pdf) is one of the most excellent pieces of highly original graphic design to come out of the shooting industry ever.

Of course, the fact that the catalog is filled with all kinds of excellent products that give me a serious case of the wantsies doesn't hurt, either.

But the presentation is just phenomenal. The cover alone makes the whole thing worth downloading, and I now want a Dr. Drake's PMAG poster to an almost irrational degree.

Major kudos to Magpul for creating a unique and eye-catching catalog that stands apart from all of the poorly laid-out or overly self-serious catalogs that the gun industry turns out.
 
Just read the catalog I picked up at the SHOT show. Yeah, I want their stuff, and their catalog is a work of art. Especially all the digs on Boulder.
 
Boulder is a great town!

The catalog is very cool. I will have to check out their products!

I spent almost everyday of my life in Boulder from birth to age 18 1/2.

I went to Boulder High School and was a member of a very gun friendly Boy Scout Troop. I even brought my collection of WWI rifles, swords and bayonets to AP US History class to show "real" history.

Remember, not everybody in Boulder is a member of the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center :rolleyes:
 
I am not a designer but I also enjoy seeing a gun company putting some effort into making stuff that isn't ninjas dropping out of helicopters on rope while giving their tough guy face through their mask :D

Its also good to know we finally have an affordable cure for smarting loins.
