New Magpul MOE X-22 stock looks like the factory Magpul stock that came with my T/CR22 - https://magpul.com/moe-x-22-stock.html?mp_global_color=118
  • Lightweight at a little over a pound
  • 13.5" length of pull (Compared to 12.5" factory 10/22 stock)
  • Includes two M-LOK slots for accessory attachment
  • Interchangeable barrel trays accept all factory barrels as well as aftermarket up to 0.920" diameter (12.5" minimum length) ensuring proper fit with pencil profile as well as heavy bull barrels
  • Non-slip butt-pad with angled toe
  • TSP grip texture
  • Integral loops compatible with Uncle Mike’s style locking sling swivels
  • Made in USA
MSRP is $69.95 but MidwayUSA has it for $66.45 - https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026599966/

Here's my T/CR22 with Magpul stock and factory tapered barrel (Below 10/22 Collector #3 with factory modular stock ... Notice longer length of pull and higher comb over factory stock) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...izing-22lr-on-the-cheap.898035/#post-12124035

New MOE X-22 stock will provide longer 13.5" length of pull and higher comb with removable barrel tray option to accommodate .920" bull barrels for more comfortable shooting for adult shooters needing longer length of pull who want to customize their 10/22 with bull barrels.

And here's T/CR22 with KSA bull barrel

I’m glad to see they finally brought this stock to the market. I’ve emailed Magpul several times in the last few years to prod them to make this very stock. I’m definitely buying one.

I like it. The weight is nice, most their stocks are rather heavy and I'm glad they offer all their colors. It needs some M-lok slots on the forend though.

That's just for a bipod, not really what I meant.
I understand. If you want multiple M-LOK slots, there's Hunter X-22 stock option which offers adjustable length of pull - https://magpul.com/hunterx-22stock-ruger10-22.html?mp_global_color=118

Compared to Take Down X-22 Back Packer - https://magpul.com/hunterx-22backpackerstock-ruger10-22takedown.html?mp_global_color=118

I think Magpul may have wanted X-22 line of stocks to be "lightweight" with fixed length of pull (Like for T/CR22 factory Magpul stock) for field handling/packable application particularly with the 10/22 Take Down model with "minimalist" objective. So having M-LOK slots for bipod may be the extent of "lightweight and minimalist" approach.

Now, if you want to accessorize with multiple M-LOK slots, there are many AR22s with M-LOK handguard option. Ruger even offers model 1296 with multiple picatinny rails and ATI AR-22 stock option for 10/22 - https://ruger.com/products/1022Tactical/models.html

Yeah, I know that. I've probably put together half a dozen 10/22's of the type. Wasn't looking for 'a' 10/22 stock with that option but 'that' 10/22 stock with that option. Like their other 10/22 stock but not 2.5lbs.

And who knows, if demand exists for MOE X-22 with multiple M-LOK slots, I am sure Magpul will meet that market demand. ;)

My T/CR22 even with Burris 6.5-20x50mm scope and KSA bull barrel, lightweight Magpul (MOE X-22) stock makes it balanced and easy to handle than 10/22 with factory fullsize modular stock.

You know, with the bull barrel tray removed, there's room on the inside to perhaps mount picatinny rails on either side of stock ... Just a thought.
