Greetings All, Bljacque here. Just joined the High Road forum today at the recommendation of another member. I'm a retired Army Warrant & grew up with the shooting sports. I'm into reloading but consider myself to be a novice at best. I enjoy shooting both modern and black powder firearms and own a number of each. Looking forward to learning from & possibly contributing to the forum.

Hello folks. I’m a middle age machinists, tool and cutter grinder that just started shooting a year ago. Started reloading two weeks ago. I’ve been married to the same woman for 28 years and we have two kids. Been on the same job for 29 years. We spent 11 years drag racing and building race engines. We like nice things but we’re definitely old school in our thinking. I’d rather build or modify something for free rather than spend money.

Hey all, new here.

I'm currently living in Washington state and spend most of the work week in Alaska, doing UAV flights for a geospatial firm.

Got a few questions regarding a woods carry that I'll ask in the handguns section.

Thank you all,

Dan

Stumbled across this forum looking for info on running a ruger old army i finally acquired. My interest in firearms is mainly self defense and plinking. Anyone in the Longview TEXAS area with a backyard shooting range who'd like some company, give me a shout. I hate paying for range time.

Hey! Joined to get some questions about rimfire's answered (best semi .22 (other than 10/22) that's not gonna break the bank (200$ and below)) interested in anything categorized as a firearm, though 5.56's are my favorites.

hello i am new to the high road. i am from the wisconsin northwoods and i love hunting on my small parcel. ive seen this website many times while googling different things and after coming here for information so many times i decided to join. the firearms im mainly interested in are shotguns. i currently only own 1 firearm and its an old sears and roebuck model 102.25 12 ga pump with a 30" barrel. i plan on acquiring more old shotguns. ive owned many other firearms but nothing has gave me the fizz like that old sears roebuck. thank you for letting me join.

New member here from Alabama. I’ve been shooting for 12 years or so. I did a little deer hunting before we had kids, but haven’t been able to get away in a few years. Most of my shooting now is with handguns. I’ve been a visitor to the forum for years but decided I wanted to get involved in the conversations rather than just watch them happen.

Hi!
This thread is a place for new THR members to introduce themselves.

Tell us a little about who you are and what kind of gun stuff you're interested in!
Hi I'm a new member, western New York. I shoot cowboy competition, handguns, rifle, trap shoot. Reloading. Hunting.

I'm James, I'm the guy behind Fire Knives and Blade Restoration in upper mid TN. I am also a pretty avid shooter, and have shot a few competitions here and there, something about a distinguished shooter in California way back, but that's all way back. I just hang out and do knife things each day, mostly by hand, some aspects with fire

Welcome and hope you never end up with the nickname Ninefingers while you're doing those knife things. ;)

Greetings all. Am a Colorado resident. Love my rifles and pistols. Shotguns are fun too but my experience with them is limited, for now.
Yall be cool.

Hello, all. I am a new member from Vermont. I am middle aged and work as a health care provider. Aside from shooting, which I do not do often enough, I enjoy disassembling guns of all types, cleaning them, and reassembling them. Thank you!

Hello all, I’m a new member from Tennessee. I’ve been shooting for as long as I can remember. I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for classic firearms of any type. I hunt small game, doves, and deer primarily. I used to have a small gun smithing shop in my home town but now just do occasional work for friends and family. I do some reloading but I’ve been at that less than a year so I’ve got a lot to learn. Basically, I’m interested in anything that fires a projectile whether it’s a slingshot or a canon.

I live in central Alabama and firearms are a hobby and a way of life for me. I have worked in a gun store that dealt with new and used firearms. I primarily enjoy modern guns but have a few older Smith revolvers. Most of my friends enjoy shooting sports and we spend a couple of weekends a month at the range. I look forward to discussions online of a general nature but occasionally need a little advice of a more specific need.
Thanks for having me.
Terry

New member here. Live in Ky but transplanted from Tn/Alabama. Varied and broad interest in guns and reloading and casting. Deer hunting and shooting are my main interst. Love history and to hear real stories from real people. Christian and conservative.

hi all from east Iowa new to this forum but been busting caps for 65 years, looking for new info all the time. reload and work on my own stuff when I can.

Greetings ship mates. I'm a 30 year retired Navy/Coast Guard vet. After a career spent as a range master and weapon system trainer, the hobby of shooting guns was not a desired priority. In fact it took 14 years of retirment for me to get the bug back. Although I did spend those first years occasionally at the range, I preferred paying table fees to downsize what I owned. But after 14 years late last year and this year I've been back at the range leaving my Simi autos and now having more fun with manual feed rifles like my Reminton bolt guns. My most recent expected arrival the Rem 783 HB 24" Creedmoor. So God willing I'll have some time to enjoy range time again but now in a personal and private way without groups or classes to train for a few years before the nation follows the steps of other westen nations having striped gun rights from the people, God forbid.

Hello all! Glad to join this forum. Since I'm stuck here in the People's Republic of New Jersey, I need all of the help I can get! I recently got back into shooting after quite a few years without enough time for another hobby. Finally back in and I'm glad that I did.
