Ooooooh. Shiny. :)

I prefer blades without serrations, but my favorite pocket knife is a Buck Ranger.
I use it as my hunting knife and have gutted, skinned, and butchered quite a few deer with it.
Buck is one of my favorite knife makers.

As long as Buck keeps making knives like the Juno, I think they'll keep enough of the market share to not go the way of Schrade.

I've been looking at the little self assist knife that Buck has come out with, but I'll have to be satisfied with looking for now. I have spent too much money on knives lately.

DK01-I think that you'll be very happy with the little Juno.

Here is a pic of my Buck Selector-I don't think you can find these anymore.

Pocket knives are not cheap. Oh, the ones at the gas station are cheap, but any cheap knife is.......well it's cheap. I remember a butcher telling a group of people that a dull cheap knife is dangerous. You want a hardy, sharp blade. Not all blade steel is equal. So, after different brands I decided to buy a really good quality, last forever knife. I bought a Case. Not cheap! But, many styles to choose from and it's made in America. There is one problem with a Case knife. I found myself buying another. The small blade for summer shorts and the larger (inside the leather holder) for colder weather jean wear.

Me too, and like I said for 15.00$ you cant beat it. Ive had good experience with Buck knives in the past, I had a mini buck for over 6 years and I think I only had to sharpen it 3-4 times. Paying 300.00$ or more for a pocket knife that im probably just going to lose after a short time would just be silly.

Certainly good knives, as stated above tho id probably just lose it anyway.... much like expensive sunglasses, I bought a pair of oakleys once... 150$ lost them within 2 weeks... Im wearing a pair of 12.00$ cheapo's and ive had em for 3 years.... that just seems to be how my luck works.

The blade on this knife is of good quality, its held an edge just fine so far, and it fits comfortably in my pocket =)
