I wanted something pocketable - in a sheath - with a fixed blade. I want it for a 'woods-walker' application - the most tactical use being cleaning fish, etc, while camping, etc. It must be unobtrusive - not a belt-sheathed knife - has to be pocketable sheathed. Below is my previous co-favorite, a Buck 192 Vanguard (Tied with my 102BR - whose handle is a tad short.), with my newbies, thanks to Santa - a (L-R) Bark River 'Huntsman' (A2 blade) and a Benchmade 201 Activator+ (D2 blade). They are great - easily repointed a .5" maple dowel with all three, and shaved forearm hair afterwards. The B R is the nicest, but it's handle feels about 3/8" too short. Of course, it gives me a reason to buy another one... once I sell a kidney, of course. I thought I'd 'share'!
