Just read about this in "Guns and Ammo". Made a quick scan of the forum and didn't see mention. They're too pricey for me, nearly 1200 bucks. Interesting that someone would come out with a new production carbine, though. I've always been a sucker of M1 Carbines, love the looks, mostly. I really have no use for the caliber, though. I have a Chiappa .22 plinker that's a good look alike that only ran me $255. Hell, .22 is a more useful round than .30 carbine, anyway. :D But, I'd sure like to own a good actual M1 caliber .30, not sure why, just a neat rifle I've always liked. Ruger made a .44 mag that looked a lot like the M1 Carbine a few years ago. I shoulda got one of those. :banghead:
