Okay, yeah, wootz, yaza!

So yesterday I had my LGS call Davidsons. He told them to ship one as soon as available. ;)

I went to the gun store today @ noon, there it was!

I love my LGS! :D $539.00 + Tax.

Trigger seems nice & light (will check actual pull weight tonight) no creep.

Wow,Nice pick-up Ultra. Was thinking about picking one of these up after the holidays to go with my GP100.Congrats on a great purchase.

Thanks! :) I hope to get to the range tomorrow!

The cylinder locks up tight as a drum! Due to the crispness, and lack of creep, the trigger does not feel like 4-1/4 lb

The weight is right in the palm of your hand. Not nose-heavy like the full lug versions.

And my dealer ordering yesterday, and having it today, life is good!

Would you mind measuring the double action pull? I am interested in this model, but I do all of my shooting double action.

The double action pull is 14 lb.

I saw this guy recently in a Kilt. He was in the gun store where I shop! Note he's wearing an AGGIE T-Shirt!

This on the other hand is me!

14 pounds. Ouch. The guy in a kilt needs to lose 14 pounds. :p Did he have a sledge hammer? You on the other hand are much better looking, but as I am relentlessly straight and on the other side of the planet my opinion won't get you anywhere. :)

I almost past upped this thread because you did not say NEW .22 SP101!

Yes, that looks good. I have other things I need to buy but I do want one soon!

Be glad you live in Alabama. I live in Texas.

There was a fellow on another site bemoaning how he can't buy one in California! His benevolent state government is 'protecting' him from the naughty guns.

He needs to emigrate to the real US!

Congratulations on the new .22 LR SP101! I had one of the snubbier ones back in the day, and made the huge mistake of selling or trading it, in a time of temporary insanity. The good thing is, this one has better sights, so I would be planning form one of these even if I did still have my older one.

Now, if Ruger would make a run of this barrel length, with these sights, in .357 Magnum, I would be a very happy man!

Mine must be an older model, like last years, sure doesn't have that front sight on it. The barrel is 3.06" long, no undercut barrel like the one shown. You'll like it though, truly a great revolver!
