new Saiga .308

So I picked up this puppy today.







Along with ~300 rounds of 7.62x51mm, hard case, and ammo can.



All for the price of $150. A friend of mine sold it to me horrifically cheap, despite my protests, saying he could easily get four times his asking price. But he insisted, because he needed the money, knows that I'll take care of it, and enjoy it, and not turn around and sell it to someone else for a profit. I agreed to buy it for this price, only because I consider it to be holding it for him until he's in better financial shape, and when (not if, but when ) he wants to buy it back, I'll gladly sell it back to him for the same price. This was his first firearm, after all.

I paid $500 for mine about 7 months ago. It was converted, (not cheaply, but in a somewhat half assed way), had a 6x POSP and two high cap mags.

I thought I got a real deal on that one, but you did a lot better than me. The ammo by itself is worth $150, so maybe you should just figure that your friend gave you a reasonable deal on the ammo and threw in the rifle for free.
