SIG SAUER® Adds Rimfire Variants to P938® Series of Pistols

NEWINGTON, N.H. (January 14, 2014) — SIG SAUER® now offers its popular P938® single-action 9mm pistol in .22LR, allowing for less expensive practice and increased fun as a “plinking” gun. Owners of P938 pistols will also see two conversion uppers, including a “long-slide” target version.
The P938-22 Rosewood offers all the features of its larger-caliber brothers, but chambered in the common .22LR cartridge. With a 10-round magazine, the Rosewood features SIGLITE® night sights, rosewood grips and a durable Nitron® finish.
Current P938 owners can purchase the conversion kit, which contains a Nitron finished slide, 3.3″ rimfire barrel and 10-round magazine. A 4.1″ “long-slide” conversion features adjustable contrast sights and an increased sight radius.
With the popularity of the P938 as a concealed carry pistol, the P938-22 allows the operator to practice with the less expensive .22LR rimfire round, and the reduced report and recoil makes it a great option for new shooters.

NEWINGTON, N.H. (January 14, 2014) — SIG SAUER® introduces a .22LR variant to the Classic P232 pistol, offering shooters a less expensive option with significant design enhancements. The new SIG SAUER P232-22 features an American (side) magazine release, external slide stop, ambidextrous manual safety and threaded barrel.
Featuring the same sleek lines as the original, the P232-22 gives operators the ability to practice with the same size, similar weight, DA/SA trigger, and frame mounted de-cocking lever of the standard P232. The light-recoil of the P232-22 is also a great choice for new shooters.
The P232-22 comes standard with a threaded barrel and would be perfectly paired with the SIG-SD .22LR Silencer. Contrast sights and an all-black frame and slide finish round out the package.
