I am a gunaholic! My new toy a S&W model 66-5 "pinto" today. It came from the factory all stainless with a blue cylinder.

Congrats on the new gun.
The snubbie 66's are fantastic guns.
I've carried them many times.

Pinto's were cool when it was Nickel & Blue and you had that offset contrast.
Why they would do a 2 tone with stainless is beyond me.
You get stainless to be able to holster that thing and not worry about bluing wear. Adding the blued cylinder just makes it a gun that needs more care.
Interesting either way.

Interesting look. I also recently came into possession of a 66-5. Mine is all the same color, but is a 3". Not being a serious fan of S&W (I like all guns, some more than others) I was intrigued to learn that the 3" is considered "special" as the ejector rod is full length. I learn new and interesting trivia every day.
