New to me Ruger P95 is broke

This past week I bought a used Ruger P95 and took it to the range today for the first time.

The gun was functioning and shooting well, but I felt something hit my arm. That was when I discovered the decocker no longer functioned. I found the followi g part on the floor of the range.

The safety works properly, and the gun Shoots fine. Of course the only way to decide it is to manually drop the hammer.

I had hoped to make this might nightstand gun, but This throws a wrinkle into that plan.
 
If Ruger doesn't have the part that broke off, I'll bet eBay does. They made lots of those, so parts should be available.
 
Agreed with the others - just call Ruger and I'm sure they'll handle it. I wouldn't worry about the reliability. All guns can fail - particularly one this old. The P95 was my first handgun purchased in 2003 and I've still got that gun in a wall safe in my bedroom.
