I don’t know, just been doing it for a few years now. I guess it like a hybrid of wet and dry tumbling. Works good! Not to get too far off topic, but what is the purpose of rubbing alcohol in a vibratory tumbler?

I sometimes mix a like a good splash, about 1/8 of the bottle with a splash of car wax. Then pour into the walnut. Empty tumble till it’s nice and creamy. Add brass! How much do you put in? A capful or a few ounces or??? Learn me something Mark_Mark, learn me!

let’s see the results! and enjoy the aroma of Wax, alcohol, and carbon !!!I'll give it a try soon. Planning on tumbling some 45acp brass and am very curious. Might do it tomorrow morning before I go to work.
Thanks!

I do like the mirror shine of nickel!!! can see myself in it! looks good tooI love nickel brass, specifically because it’s rare enough to make it special… and special means loaded differently. My oddball pet loads go in nickle cases. The blasting fodder goes in brass.
wish Darrington was closer to Seattle, would love to shoot there! your grandson sure loves shooting! My grandson shoot a lot. I take him out shooting up at the DNR pits up in Darrington WA every weekend and he will shoot from 250 up to 600 rounds of ammo every weekend so our cases get a hell of a work out.
