I was bummed to find out that this model was no longer available direct from Coast. My local Home
Depot had a DX344 but it has no one handed open hole in top of blade. I ordered a couple of LX320 with the hole in top of blade but I rather my old trusty BX309!!

These cheap knives have an excellent pocket clip and hold a decent edge with the combo serrated edge blade.

If I recall correctly these BX309 were approved by RC Model and others!

Yep, RC was a fan of those.
My working out back knife is the FX416.

if I recall RC would make the blade hole bigger to suit him. Man I really miss that guy he was a mountain of knowledge readily shared with anyone willing to ask!!

Dang it! This thread got me to walk further than I have in one go since the back surgery from way out in the parking lot of Home Depot to the far end of the power tools and there were no BX309 to be had!

    Had to look though.

Order them into your Home Depot for pickup and you won't have to risk a wasted trip.
