Non Plastic smaller carry gun

I've owned a couple of the smaller pistols. I carry a CZ Rami and it's been a nice mix of size and capacity. Once you find the right holster they are very easy to conceal in either a IWB or OWB. I carry it with a 10 round magazine and carry a 14 round as backup.

The Kimber Solo does look intriguing but I will wait until I can see some real world usage before purchasing.

If you want to stick with an auto, check out one of the smaller used 3rd gen S&W autos. You should be able to easily conceal a 3913. There are a lot of fans of the 6906 (if you don't think double stack it too bulky). There are lots of varients and different calibers too - CS9, 4013, 4513, the DOA versions (-53), the blue slide versions (-14), Performance Center guns, etc.

I can also recomment the steel Kahrs. I have an original E9, the economy version of the K9, and it has performed very well. I little heavy because it is all steel.

I'll third the suggestion for the Kahr MK9.

The all metal Kahrs are really beautifully made and great guns.

For pocket carry I use the SIG P238, Mine is a great little pistol, but I rarely pocket carry. For IWB I like the SIG RCS 1911, both have night sights. My daily beater is a CZ PCR 9mm, usually belt holster carry with a loose shirt over it. Once in a blue moon I even carry a SIG P232, or even a Beretta 950 Jetfire .25ACP, but I feel and shoot better with a more powerful larger frame pistol.
