So, i'm wanting to try some of these Nosler accubonds in my 300 win mag. I already have loaded and shot the partitions, and they do fine. I'm just curious as to whether or not some of the other hunters here have any experience with them and can give me some info. or insight on these bullets. I'll just be hunting whitetail with them here in Va. My recipe for the nosler partition is 180 g. partition over, 74.5 grains of IMR 7828, winchester large rifle magnum primer. Thanks guys.........hvychev77

I've take one deer with this load; a bang flop DRT neck shot at close to 300 yards. It also works well on raccoons.

Last I looked, the Nosler Pro Shop had the 200 gr. Accubonds as seconds. I'm only telling you this since I already bought my 1,000.

I use the 165 grain Accubonds in my .30-06 and they group better than I can shoot. As a former employee I can tell you that their factory seconds are just as good as their firsts and are half the price. You can get real time availability by calling Shooter's Pro Shop. The website doesn't have accurate quantities. The Accubond hits like a Partition but flies like a Ballistic Tip. In my opinion, it is the best of both worlds in one bullet. Hope that helps.

Those bullets look really good for being pulled. I have shot seconds and pulled bullets before. My deer and elk rifles never knew the difference. The AB's in my .270 are very good medicine for deer.

Great bullet..........I use the 225 .338 version and it is an outstanding performer on targets or game. Last buck I shot in W.va was with that bullet over 72.0 of IMR 4350...DRT. Load prints under a minute of angle at a hundred and very very consistant.

BTW, that buck was hit somewhat high on the left shoulder due the extreme angle I took the shot at but I actually had less meat loss that with my standard HPBT '06 round.......needless to say there was no projectile recovery.

great info. guys. Thanks for the many replies and high reviews. I figured as much.....guess i need to break out the 'ol credit card........makes my wife grin when i do that. NOT!! thanks again, hvychev77

200 gr Accubond and RL22 in my 300 Winnie is a winner! Works on Elk, Works on deer and shoots tiny little groups. What's not to like?
