Ralph D. Sherman is the firearms lawyer in CT his contact info is on the packing.org website on the right sidebar (scroll down). For questions regarding aliens and firearms I would contact him. I have dealt with him briefly and he is eminently reasonable.
He was also involved in the lawsuit/negotiations in the early 90s after our "assault weapon" law passed that made the state adhere to the language of the law as passed. (I.E. The law said "Bushmaster Rifle" so the law did not cover "Bushmaster Carbines" which are still legal to purchase!).
