I often use my regular Oakley sunglasses for outdoor shooting (I really like my Oakley Eye Jackets for this use), but I was thinking of getting the Oakley M-Frame that seems to be designed with shooting in mind.

I see that they make at least 4 different versions of the M-Frame: HEATER; STRIKE; SWEEP and HYBIRD.

I was wondering if anyone had any comments on which version would be best for general shooting use?

:what:  :what:

Thanks.

I don't think they're shaped for a specific activity as much as they are to fit your face?

Note the difference between the regular and Pro M-frames. IIRC the Pro doesn't have moving parts and is a solid piece of plastic. The regular M-frames fold.

I use eyejackets almost all the time. But, M-Frames offer a larger field of view. Folding ones are significanlty easier to transport than straight ones.

I use the heater lens. It's the largest and fits my face well. What Bane said about ease of transportation is true but the proM-frames do have a durability advantage. I've owned 5 pairs of M-frames and broke them all at the hinges; 1 pair of proM-frames- giant case but no breakage.
