OHIO - Special Election TODAY. Please vote for Tom Brinkman.

Today there's a special primary election in Ohio's 2nd Congressional district. Rob Portman resigned to be President Bush's trade rep. One of the candidates running is State Rep. Tom Brinkman. Brinkman supports VERMONT carry and is 100% pro-2a.

I had the chance to met Brinkman back in 2001 at SAF's Gun Rights Policy Conference which was near Cincy. That's where I first met him. I'm rarely impressed by politicians, but he was a true believer and supported us when it wasn't popular.

I would vote for him if I could. Since I can't, I sent his campaign $25. Good luck to Brinkman.

Schmidt, Hackett Win Congressional Primaries

I believe Schmidt(R) voted for CPLS in Ohio. Hackett (D) has no record on the issue, and says he's pro-2a.

I'm sad to see Brinkman finish 3rd, but at least DeWine lost.
