Oil Rifle Mags Inside?

I've never oiled or otherwise lubricated the inside of any magazine, rifle or pistol. The only magazines I've ever put anything on are for my Ruger MkII on the outside because they rust.

As has been pointed out AR followers are plastic of some kind, and most good AR magazines are teflon coated on the inside except for Magpul's and they're slicker'n slick by design.

My current favorite is Benelli oil, what they send out with their shotguns. I put it on everthing. Except magazines, I have found the internal finish to be plenty, I think the gains in corrosion control, would not be worth the chance of the oil collecting grit, lint, or even just dying out and becoming gummy. clean and dry for me.
