Just got done shaping the handle of this one - not done but it looks pretty good!

Fully etched 2" blade, nice temper line, green/black G10. 1/8" O1, differentially heat treated. Sweeeeet. :p

very nice knife! i see it says aspiring knifemaker in your signature...how long have you been making for? you stock removing? forging?

i hope you dont mind a bit of advice...i notice at the front of the handle where the finger groove is the material tapers down to a point you may want to keep it a bit thicker on future models. i used to do the same thing and noticed that this area was more prone to chipping off, and the epoxy losing its grip. i try to keep my composites with a 1/8" min. radius, materials like diamondwood slightly wider and materials prone to moving around (like wood) to 1/4" min. to prevent future repairs.
please dont take this as a slam on your work, ive liked both knives ive seen of yours! just trying to save you from mistakes ive made

Thanks ecos, I don't mind at all! I'm pretty much making it up as I go on handles and did have ironwood break on me where it went to a point.

I use a Bader3 grinder so everything is stock removal. I use a two-brick forge and HT all the knives myself and use refractory cement to keep the spine soft (and to get the cool temper line of course).

I just started making these smaller knives with 1/8" O1 and G10 handles. I have been making 4" utility knives with ironwood handles out of 3/16" O1.

Here's a couple of them:
