OKC 3S bayonets on sale

I'm personally partial to World War 1 era sword bayonets, myself.

Well, mine came in. May be the best knife deal I have run across, at least as far as my tastes are concerned. The one I got was at the high end of "fair" condition, in my opinion. A little surface rust from the sheath retainer, which wiped of with steel wool. A LOT of fine sand everywhere. Sheath is very dry, hilt was slightly discolored from sun exposure in a couple places, but cleaned up very well. Blade was grinder-sharpened, so it was sharp, but has a rough edge. No nicks that won't stone out.

It's more like a good knife that happens to have the ability to attach to a rifle than a traditional bayonet.

It's certainly more useful for outdoors work than the old M7 bayonets.

I ordered 2, should be in Monday. Hope mine looks as good as those, well worth the money if so.
