I knew I liked OK, in remembrance of Kathy E Nixon, best woman I ever loved.

Will they keep the CCW/LTC for out of state use?
That’s already law. Actually, they recognize permitless carry from other states but have denied their own citizens that right. So a guy (or gal) from Arkansas could carry legally without a permit. But a guy (or gal) who is a resident of Oklahoma, couldn’t.

Thank you for that clarification.
This is something I'm keen to pay attention to as I'm going to have to start driving to Tulsa and back on a middling regular basis. That 5 hour drive (one way) already necessitates early morning and late night travel as is, but will only get worse once ground is broken.

Mind, we also keep hearing rumors that we in Texas may get fee-less LTC, too.

Thank God there are states with common sense legislatures. We're devolving the other way with ours wanting to have access to our social media (High Road?), outlawing semi-autos of just about any kind both on the table right now. Already have the state dealer licensing and red flag laws.

The Oklahoma legislature has waffled on Constitutional carry for many years. It all started when the Republican legislature passed Constitutional carry knowing Democrat governor Brad Henry would veto same. Yep, the governor vetoed Constitutional carry.

Republicans demanded the election of a Republican governor who would sign Constitutional carry into law. After the election of Republican governor Mary Fallen the bill came up again. Some of the same OK senators who previously voted for Constitutional carry sabotaged the bill. The legislature lied and kicked the Constitutional carry can down the road for seven more years. Last year the house passed the bill at the end of the legislative session. Mary Fallen, reneging on her promise to pass Constitutional carry, and acting on the demands of "backdraft" Bob Ricks, vetoed the bill.

I really wish OK the best of luck on this.

When constitutional carry was passed in AZ (actually the repeal of all laws against carrying of weapons, concealed or otherwise by law-abiding citizens) the libs foretold of "return to the wild west" and that "blood will be running in the streets". Nope neither happened and the crime rate actually dropped a bit.

In any state, you can bet the bad actors will be carrying a weapon concealed. In a constitutional carry state, the bad actors never know who is or is not carrying. That goes for visitors, too. All law abiding individuals are permitted to carry open or concealed here in AZ. What is not to like?

Ol' Murf is just looking at lost revenue from the 'no training' requirement. The potential lost revenue is what's driving his stupidity. Other than that I'd bet he'd be right on board with it.

So, Ol' Murf is voting his pocketbook instead of his principles. Sounds like his (former) customers can fix this problem for him.
