I need some help identifying an old bayonet given to me by my half brother nearly 50 years ago. I have lost contact with him and after much searching still have not found him. He served in WWII and brought it back from the war.

That's very interesting. He also gave me another bayonet that is definitely Japanese. I know this because he also gave me a Japanese rifle and a bayonet that fits it. The thing that is confusing is that the bayonet pictured has an imprint on the scabbard that says Torino 1886 and on the hilt is a stamped imprint E 5494. Figure that one out.

I checked out the site and it appears that the top sketch of the three bayonets matches the one I have that fits the rifle. I don't see one that matches the photo I attached. I think I may contact the author of the site if someone here doesn't know.

That has to be it. Mine has a different hilt than the one on the site but the scabbard is exactly the same and the markings match. It is curious how my half brother was able to get both Japanese and Italian weapons. He even got a Samurai sword but I didn't get that.
