so i was going through some of the boxes of reloading stuff i have acquired over the years and found an older style RCBS bench top priming tool. looks like this one http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?134937-RCBS-Bench-top-primer-tool-(Old-Style)

its missing the two primer parts (one for large primers and one for small) that are shown sitting off to the side.

anyone know if the parts included with the rcbs ram priming set will work? http://www.midwayusa.com/product/416519/rcbs-ram-priming-unit

i was going to email RCBS but they dont open back up till the 5th, figured maybe one you would know.

Looking at this RCBS parts book both priming tools seem to call out the same part number of 09471 large or small for the part. That leads me to believe they are the same part, however, I sure won't be the first to say they are. :) Patience as RCBS opens in a few days and good things come to those who wait. Think I have one of those old RCBS priming tools around here somewhere.

awesome, thanks Ron.

the reason id rather buy rather than just try to get it free is pretty simple. its not RCBS' fault i dont have the parts and id rather spend a few bucks and support a company rather than try to get it for free.

I lost some parts to my Rock Chucker II in one move and the power adapter for my Range Master 750 in a different move. Both times I emailed RCBS, told them what happened and also clearly stated that the loss was my fault. I asked for the cost of the replacement parts shipped to my address and said I wanted to pay. Both times they sent me replacements free.

Great company.

RCBS will probably send you the parts for free, no matter how much you object. They're kinda like my father-in-law was when we would go out to eat, picked up the tab no matter how much of a fight I would put up. :banghead: RCBS is a great company to deal with.
