Just stopped by my local Mom and Pop shop and picked up a pound of both #7 and H38 at $8 a pound. They are older containers, the #7 is in the modern plastic jug but looks older and the H38 is in a semi rusty can. Question is where do I start on modern reloading data for the older powder. 10% less or more. All the books I have are modern reloading books. I have no clue what year these powders come from, and know powders have changed over the years.

Neither HP-38 or Accurate #7 have changed over the years.

The plastic jug indicates fairly recent powder.

The rusty can might indicate the powder has started to go south.

Smell it and if it doesn't smell like acid it should be good.
(Should have a solvent smell)

Smells good RC thanks for the heads up. He had a ton of H110 if I am not mistaken at $8 a pound, what could I use this on if anything? Didn't pick any up but sure thought about it. Reload for a .357, a 9mm, and .380 currently.
