Do you think that Highroad would allow posting firearm related online fiction stories?

Would it be something that you would read?

[Some guy whose name I've forgot] has a real long gun fiction thread.

Its a book he releases chapter by chapter.

Have a look around this section. Its somewhere and its good.

So yeah, you're good to go.

I'd say it's fine - providing (of course) gun oriented and not purveying anything blatantly... illegal etc.
At least, by 1933 standards. ;) :p (referencing Nightcrawler's character's gun running business) :D

I'd say it's fine - providing (of course) gun oriented and not purveying anything blatantly immoral, illegal etc. Most useful presentation seems to be PDF files.

I would like to know how to put my writing on PDF, how that works exactly. Now as far as blatantly immoral, would a rotten President fall into theat catagory? :)

Do a search for this file on web - pdfconv_setup.exe - it is a small prog' that will IIRC convert your word doc or similar. I have it but not used yet. Also PagePlus 9 by Serif is now complete with PDF converter - maybe you can find a copy of that - it's not very expensive and is quite a powerful DTP package.

As for the ''President'' thing - well as I said last post and being true to fiction, I guess pretty much anything goes - but maybe the thing to avoid would be a blatent parallel to present day issues. I can see it possible to write supposed fiction but which has so much basis on present day reality ... DHS might just see it as a ''plot in process'' ! :p

I'm flattered that my ramblings continue to be so popular. I'm also thankful to the moderators for allowing me to post the story in it's complete version.

More is coming, folks. After I get back to the States, I'll really get back into my writing. I miss it. It's a good outlet for a bored mind and an overactive imagination.

As you might imagine, being a security guard (*ahem*..."force protection officer", excuse me  ) isn't exactly an academic experience...

(...in fact, with the obvious exception of those souls dealing with an honest to God neurological handicap, I can say without exxageration that here, in Qatar, I've come across the dumbest people I've ever met. :banghead: )
