Opinion on 1886 Lebel Values?

Hey Guys,

One gun that has been on my list for a while has been an M93 1886 Lebel. I wish I jumped on one three years ago because prices have gone up double if not triple.

I have an opportunity to buy one at $1,050 in good condition, which may sound high for a milsurp service rifle but compared to the current market, it is a steal. Do you think the market is inflated and this is simply too much? Or do you think I should take the bird in hand?

I don't think prices on all the old rifles will drop, unless more suddenly become available.

If you really want one, I'd go ahead and get it.
Would you be more upset with not having gotten this one, or finding out you over paid by a bit later?
Personally, I'd just buy another if they got cheaper so I'd have two! Lol

Well if you've been following M93 1886 Lebel prices for some time and you think this one for $1050 in good condition is a "steal", then I figure you've answered your own question (and after looking at some of the asking prices on Gunbroker I'm inclined to agree with you)!

Up to you if you consider it worth the asking price but if it's what you want then I would say go for it!

And let us know what you decide to do!
