Opinions on Airlight 360 vs 386 wanted

Looking to see if anyone has any insights on the S&W 360 with the 1 7/8 in. barrel vs the 386 with the 7 shot cap and 2 1/2 inch barrel. This would be a carry rig, both concealed and open, for use on critters. Primarily the 4 legged and crawling kind. Hopefully no run ins with the 2 legged variety, but for them as well if needed. Thanks.

I bought a 386PD to give my wife for Christmas so haven't shot it yet. I will let you know. I do know that it does not fit into my "K" frame holsters.

For these little airweight guns, you should best stick with the larger one's.

I could understand that they might be a handful with full house .357 loads, I primarily use only .38 Spl, except for special situations. I had a Taurus in .38, it was OK, but sold it for a 4 inch .357, now I would like something a little lighter for day to day carry and something that can also handle birdshot loads for the occasional rattlesnake.

The other possibility would be a Taurus 651 Titanium in .357. It weighs about 5 oz more, which might add to control with .357 loads.

J frame=12 or 14 ozs.
L frame= 18 ozs

At least the L frame has the weight of 2 extra bullets.
