It was at walmart for about $14 and something a box. Was tempted to get some because of the price. Thought I'd better check with you guys first. Reliable?

I have a Taurus PT145.

I've heard decent things about TULA 9mm ammo, which is VERY inexpensive, so I bought some of that, but I haven't used it yet.

I've shot a lot of the 9mm TulAmmo and never had a problem. Good enough for range plinking but as the above poster stated I wouldn't use it for SD.

perfectly OK for cheap range plinking, assuming your gun likes it (nobody can tell you that, you'll have to experiment)
expect a few inconsistent charges and the occasional dud primer, and expect the gun to be dirtier after shooting, Tula uses a somewhat dirtier powder and steel cases don't seal up the chamber as well as brass.

I keep Tula (and similar other steelcase like Brown/Silver Bear or Wolf) around for outdoor shooting when I won't be able to recover a larger percentage of the empties, or for just taking new shooters to the range, and letting them focus on shooting, rather than collecting/sorting brass from the floor.

I used it for a while in my Xd and glocks with no issues. It's dirtier and some ranges won't let you shoot it. Other than that go for it and save a little money. It works.

I've never had any problems with tula ammo. A local box store is selling 9mm for 9 dollars a box. Needless to say I've stocked up. The .45 is 14 dollars a box and have stocked up on it as well. .223 is 4.99 a box but I won't run it through my ar's.
I've ran the .45 successfully in my g30 with no problems at all, how ever it is some dirty shooting stuff. It does serve its purpose as a cheap range ammo. I've also ran a ton through my g19 with no problems to speak of.
I have only ran it in glocks. I'm hesitant to run it through my my better guns, but I'm sure it would be fine.

If there is any difference between Tula and Wolf, I can't tell. I shoot lots of it, liked it much better when it was $110/1000 rounds six or so years ago.
