Original factory finishes on Winchester 1892 carbine

Can anyone tell me what type of bluing process was used by Winchester on a 1892 carbine manufactured in 1909? Also, which pieces were Case hardened. What would be the factory finish on the wood?

Pretty standard example of a restored gun here: though Winchester offered a myriad of finishes and grades.

Madis says that all steel parts of the standard Model 92 were blued but with case hardening available. Exact process not given, but it sticks in my head that the barrel and magazine tube were rust blued and the receiver furnace blued.
