1989 Blued Redhawk. I love the bluded over the stainless. the 5.5 barrel is perfect. 44 mag is the right caliber. Goes with me when I am headed into the mountains. Load, carry and shoot 240gr swc and 300gr hard cast for big game hunting. This round blows big holes in critters called Mule deer and Elk. 75 yard shots are instant killers.

Explain the blued over stainless. Is it in fact, blued stainless? Are all blued RedHawks this?

That is nice indeed, every now and then I see one in a display case and it always catches my eye.

Very nice! My brother had one when he use to work up in Alaska. Carried it in a surplus WWII British canvas holster for the Webley Mk.VI in .455 with a 6" barrel that I found for him. Took it along with him whenever he went on hikes through the woods. Never ran into any troublesome creatures when he was there but found it mighty comforting to have that Ruger Redhawk along just in case!
