P-365 because it fits me so well, I can use the sights very effectively without readers, carries great, accurate, the capacity is significant, and I simply shoot it so well so easily.

Also have to say I am not familiar with the 43, but am not a Glock fan in general.

I haven’t handled a p365, it looks pretty nice

I love the G43

I doubt you’d go wrong with either. I vote the 43 because it’s what I know but would love to compare th two

I had the XDs for awhile and I like the way it felt but I didn't shoot it well.

Then I shot my brother's Glock 43 and was in love. Finally bought my own and I love that one too. Points perfectly for me.

With all this Sig love though, and I admit that looks like a nice pistol, I may have to go find one to look at:)

Not a fan of the DA/SA so I've sold every other Sig that I've tried. That one looks great.

I have both (and a Sig P938). I carry the Sig P365 only because it carries a few more rounds than the G43. I think the G43 is a good gun too. I also carried the P938 for a while since I am a 1911 guy. They all are good guns.

Since I could not decide which one of the above 3 to carry, I ran each 5 times in the IDPA new short classifier. I shot "Sharpshooter" with all of them (a little short of "Expert"). The P938 was maybe a little better score, but all 3 averaged within a few points of the others for me.

The main thing I dislike about the carrying the P365 is the spare magazine is a little bulkier being a double stack which I carry in my left rear pocket. Single stack magazines aren't as noticeable carried in the rear pocket. I always carry a spare magazine.

I have shot the P365 in our club IDPA BUG matches this last Summer. No problems using a range of ammo. Really, I cannot remember any malfunctions with any of the 3.

I'd prefer neither.

But I voted the 365 because it's the only one of the two I have experience with and it did shoot well enough for a small gun. It was too small so I got rid of it. The Glock 26 shoots really well in my hands and conceals perfectly for my small gun needs.

I feel if I had a 43 I'd just constantly wish it was a 26.

I've put only a couple mags through the 43, possibly not enough to render a fair judgement on the piece, but it didn't come close to my P365 in terms of ergonomics, accuracy, natural point, sights, and trigger. The 365 instantly felt great in my hand; the 43 would for sure require a learning curve. Plus, the trigger and the superb sights of the SIG are both so superior to the Glock ...

I have handled the Sig 365, never shot it. It feels great in my hand.

That being said I do have a Glock 43 and it is a nice gun. I can stick it in my pocket and it disappears.

I also never buy the first run of a new firearm. I have learned a few times in the past to wait for a bit until all the bugs are worked out.

It seems a lot of manufacturers use the public as their Beta Testers.

I can't speak to the Sig. My Glock 43 is my constant companion. It wears well and is rarely noticed. It is uber reliable, and is better than any gun that I would leave in the glove compartment or in the dresser because it was bulky, heavy, or unreliable.

While I own Glocks, I also own the 365; it has become one of my favorites, especially with the 12 round mag; something the 43 does not have

The P365 seems like a unicorn gun meeting all requirements a concealed carrier could ask for. However they have had some tough problems at first, and I don’t trust their reliability and durability yet.

For a use as serious as CC, I vote proven reliably first, all other benefits come second. +1 for Glock 43 and I’m not a Glock guy.

Glock had some issues when they first came, especially in 40SW. I don't see everyone bashing and claiming they are no good. MY 365 has been flawless; I have owned it about 6 months; it has about 1K so far downrange. I'm calling that good enough for me.

With the caveat that the 365 I had worked just fine and still does, by it's new owners account.

The thing that mostly bothers me about the 365 issuss is the worst ones (broken striker, dead trigger) seemed to happen after 1K rounds more often than early on, by accounts I've read, so you really cant trust that just because it ran fine for a few hundred it will continue to do so.

Of course any gun can break on any shot, but I personally wouldnt trust the 365 has the issues ironed out for a while yet, myself.

I did much the same delaying a Gen 4 9mm Glock for several years.

Just my $0.02, worth what ya paid for it. Less, most likely

I like the thought of the p365.

I own the G43.

One day my vote may change to the Sig when enough people sing their song. It's designed as a carry gun and reliability is of utmost importance. All designs have some lemons but the Sig has been plagued with lots of tales of disappointed customers. If this ever changes and the P365 proves its worth, I'll own one.

Till then I'm gonna put my life and the lives of my family in the hands of the gun I trust and that's a Glock 43.

The Glock looks and feels chunky to me, the SIG appears to be more slim and thus better suited for pocket carry. Plus the SIG has higher capacity. Other than that, they are both excellent choices for CC.
I agree, I chose the sig

I have around 1000 round so far no issues, the circumstances I read about were on blogs and hear say....the few actual data were not enough to say that sig has a huge issue

Agreed mate!

I have shot both and I felt the 43 was initially better in the hand however i did go with the sig for mag size, now I prefer it over the 43
